Tall Towers & Strong Bridges | Civil Engineering & Architecture
Students learned the process of designing tall structures or strong bridges that can withstand a specific load. Students were taught what it means to have strong foundations in structures to carry the heaviest loads. They learned the blueprints of designing as it can be an iterative process. Most of the time, the first design doesn’t work out, but they learn from their failure in order to make the best design with limited time and materials.
Students interested in this project could pursue careers in civil, geotechnical, structural, and architectural engineering, contracting, construction managing, architecture, and more.
